Photos: SPCA puppy to embark on new career as hearing-aid dog
Rudy, a nine-month-old terrier-pug puppy, was surrendered recently to a Lower Mainland SPCA shelter by a family who could no longer keep him because of allergies. He may just graduate as a hearing-aid dog and be placed with a deaf or hard-of-hearing client who could benefit from his assistance.
